וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ אֶל־אֱלִישָׁ֜ע שֵֽׁב־נָ֣א פֹ֗ה כִּ֤י יְהוָה֙ שְׁלָחַ֣נִי עַד־בֵּֽית־אֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלִישָׁ֔ע חַי־יְהוָ֥ה וְחֵֽי־נַפְשְׁךָ֖ אִם־אֶעֶזְבֶ֑ךָּ וַיֵּרְד֖וּ בֵּֽית־אֵֽל׃
Und Elia sprach zu Elisa: 'Bleib hier, ich bitte dich; denn der HERR hat mich bis nach Bethel gesandt.' Und Elisa sagte: 'Wie der Herr lebt und wie deine Seele lebt, werde ich dich nicht verlassen.' Also gingen sie nach Beth-el hinunter.—
